Alexandra Fournier's main area of practice is civil and commercial litigation. Before returning to school, she worked in the business world as a business development representative and business consultant. As a lawyer, she aims to put her expertise, communication skills and analytical mind at the service of the region's entrepreneurs.

She prioritizes a personalized, comprehensive approach that enables her to present solutions tailored to her clients' specific needs.

She also specializes in criminal law, acting as prosecuting attorney for the municipal court of the City of Sainte-Marie for the past few years and for other municipalities on a sporadic basis, but also defending contractors against contraventions of construction regulations or employers regarding occupational health and safety rules.

Ms. Fournier is a member of the Jeune Barreau de Québec. She has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the Caisse Desjardins des Etchemins for several years. She is also involved in a number of committees and with the local table de concertation.

She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fondation santé Beauce-Etchemins. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fondation santé Beauce-Etchemins, and is a member of the Québec National Assembly from 2020 to 2022.

Ms. Fournier has also worked as a research assistant at Université Laval's Groupe de recherche en droit des services financiers.
