Jean-François Lecours

Associate lawyer

Mr. Lecours' practice focuses on labour law and occupational health and safety. He acts as an employer's attorney in the private and public sectors, notably in education, health and social services, and for private companies.

He appears before arbitration tribunals, common law courts, the Administrative Labour Tribunal and other specialized bodies in disputes involving the interpretation and application of collective agreements, labour and occupational health and safety laws, human rights charters, as well as disciplinary measures and termination of employment.

Mr. Lecours advises and represents employers in the negotiation of collective agreements for public agencies and private companies.

He devotes part of his professional activities to access to information and privacy law. He also acts as an investigator for complaints of harassment in the workplace, and as a prosecutor for public inquiries under the Coroners Act.
